10 Plagues

by Stacie Graber

The highlight of every summer for all the cousins is to attend “Camp Grammy”.  This summer was no exception.  Mummies, papyrus, pyramids and crocodiles all came to life as we studied, made crafts and acted out the life of Ancient Egypt.

Along with the activities, we also try and film a Bible story video with all the cousins.  To go along with our Egyptian theme, we chose the story of the 10 Plagues.  The children enthusiastically joined in the fun of acting out the different plagues. It led to great discussions on the idols the Egyptians worship and how God showed Himself more powerful than any idol in the land of Egypt.

I hope you enjoy!

I know it’s a labor of love but I hope all appreciate the work Anne and her helpers put in every summer to put on Camp Grammy to make it both educational and fun.
